Wilson PSC 6.1 + Synthetic Gut @ 50 lbs

After more than 8 hours of play, the old multifilament string has gone soft and mushy. A strange vibration has also developed in the strings during ball contact. So I think it is time to cut and restring.

My customised PSC 6.1 weight without strings is 346g and 361g strung. The strings added exactly 15g.

Here's a pic of the stringing in progress. All stringing starts from the middle mains and take turns to thread and pull tension on each side of the racket. This is to protect the frame from possible distortions. However unorthodox I'd like to be, safety cannot be compromised...

And here's the freshly strung racket. The strings have a very nice shiny gold-coloured spiral going around the string. Not sure if you can see it in the picture.

Playtest:
- feels a little stiff during first 10-15 minutes of hitting but softened slightly after that break-in period
- this strings feels nice and crisp
- pocketing is very good when receiving or hitting hard shots
- it may be me, but the strings seem to feel a little slippery when i was trying to generate more topspin
- comfort level is good and soft with low vibrations
- will play with this more before commenting on how it wears and holds tension

Strings:
Pro Supex Spiral Flex 16g 1.30mm @ 50 lbs strung one piece
